Wine Room was started in Perth in February 2009 as a fine wine store in the suburb of Nedlands, but has its origins from way back in 1991, when the founder first entered the liquor industry. More recently, Wine Room could be found in Scandinavia as the ‘Australian Wine Room’, specialising in premium regional Australian wines.

Wine Room now offers the same service here in Australia with delivery via Australia Post. We specialise in boutique wines and producers- from more obscure brands to the most sought after wines in Australia- but always to the highest quality and value. Our goal is to offer a small ever-evolving range of quality, regional wines, at the best prices possible. We now even offer our own label wines from an ever increasing choice of regions and varieties.

The Wine Room label represents a carefully selected array of premium wines from some of Australia’s finest wine regions.  Our winemakers include Steve Grimley and Edward Tomlinson. Steve’s company is Bespoke Wines in McLaren Vale and is contracted to produce wine for some of the world’s largest retail chains. He is a Barossa Valley native who has his own 10 hectare holdings and sources the best possible fruit from around the country from his extensive contact list of growers and producers.

Edward’s family vineyard is Lenton Brae in Margaret River and he produces our Margaret River Wines from his own vineyards and contract growers throughout the Margaret River appellation.
Our joint aim is to offer premium wines with classic varietal characteristics which are a true expression of their regions- all at a reasonable price-point.
