Cedar, black current, black olive character of the cabernet sauvignon, with a background of mulberries and fleshy berry fruits from the Merlot. The oak is soft on the nose, providing dusty and toasty complexity. The firm tannins of the Cabernet have been softened out on the palate by the blending with merlot. This is a wine with lovely depth of flavour and a l ong finish.
